It is our firm belief that a young man must be a good fit for St. Lawrence Seminary, and that St. Lawrence Seminary must be right for that young man before we will offer him an application.
Weekend Visit
The Weekend Visit Experience is an opportunity for young Catholic boys to explore St. Lawrence Seminary as a prospective high school. This experience is open to current seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth grade students. The weekend traditionally runs Friday Sunday, it allows students to experience a residential high school life during the course of the school year.
Weekend Visitors join our students in prayer, classes, meals, and recreation. During the weekend the prospective students take an admissions exam. The results are shared with both the student and his parents before departure from campus.
Students within a 5 hour radius ar provided transportation on Thursday of the visit, arriving to campus by 4:00 pm. Parents are to join their sons Saturday on campus in the Guest House, where they will normally stay for the duration of the visit. Sharing this experience provides common ground from which prospective students and their parents can discuss future attendance at St. Lawrence Seminary High School.

Day of Discovery
Our process for acceptance encourages deliberate steps of inquiry and discovery on both sides. The Day of Discovery is an opportunity for early middle school aged boys to come discover St. Lawrence Seminary High School, meet the faculty and staff, and join in Sunday Mass. SLS is able to share information about our school, listen to your family’s goals in choosing a high school, and to get to know the prospective student.
